It has been a very peaceful holiday. Yesterday, after church and a lunch of ham, dressing, pecan pie, etc. I took a much needed and welcomed nap! I don't get to do that often on Sunday but I did take advantage of the fact that nothing was open yesterday, so there was no running to and fro with a list of things to do....
That is something that I really want to do this year. Slow down on Sunday and dedicate it to the Lord because it has become just another day to us and I don't like that. This year I am really wanting to focus on spiritual things because I have seriously been lacking in this area and I am not that kind of person. So, if you have any suggestions on how to dedicate Sunday to rest and spiritual matters, please share!
